Six Rivers National Forest
Marble Mountains Wilderness

Volunteer on the Ukonom/Orleans trail crew with united Trail Maintainers of California. Pack stock supported trips into the Marble Mountains Wilderness with meals provided in the backcountry. Remove trees using traditional sawyer skills in the wilderness and brush out trails while viewing spectacular scenery. Roosevelt Elk and other wildlife are numerous throughout the area. Weekly trips. Participants should be physically fit for hiking in the backcountry and performing trail maintenance.

UTMC is a non-membership nonprofit organization that works to maintain public trails. We provide horse and mule packing services to agencies and to other nonprofits. We have many chainsaw and crosscut sawyers who volunteer with our organization.
