Are you organized? Do you want to make a difference? Nevada Volunteers is looking for you!
Behind every event, program, and organization is someone who paid extra attention to the details to make it happen. Be that support for Nevada Volunteers and apply to be our Administrative Office Support Volunteer.
Nevada Volunteers is the Governor’s commission on service. We strengthen Nevada through AmeriCorps and volunteerism. We understand the value and impact volunteers have, which is why we are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and friendly individual to help keep our office running smoothly.
The Administrative Office Support Volunteer will provide office support and general clerical duties mainly for the Administrative Assistant and other staff members as needed. Duties for the position include providing customer service (on the phone and in person), preparing for meetings and events, and assisting in general office tasks. Orientation and training is provided, but the Administrative Office Support Volunteer should have basic Microsoft Office skills, preferably with a strong background in Microsoft Excel and be able to communicate proficiently in English.
Our annual event, the Governor’s Points of Light Awards, is coming up in September and we will become busier as the date arrives. Having extra assistance from the Administrative Office Support Volunteer will help us stay organized and on schedule.More opportunities with Nevada Volunteers
