Trustees

The Trustees, Southwest Region manages key historical properties including; Naumkeag House, The Mission House, Ashintully Gardens, Monument Mountain, Bartholomew’s Cobble and the Ashley House, all of which need a talented volunteer (possible internship will be considered) who is proficient in using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF on line W2P and book publishing sites such as Blurb, Mosaic. The volunteers would work to start a project at the Mission House location, in Stockbridge with Trustees Engagement managers. Part of the requirements would be to develop creative briefs identifying, developing and executing of our various graphic design needs. Cross platform compatibility knowledge, PC and Mac based systems, is requested by but not required.

The volunteer or volunteers will be working with Trustee staff to develop, design and execute a variety of graphic design and visual communications needs to promote our many 2018 events. The marketing tools needed to be developed include posters, rack cards, post cards, direct mail tools, signage and includes the execution of the designs to final print/output ready files. Specific customized projects are also part of our need, creation of badges for a "Clue Game" event, creation of a multi-page photo book illustrating a non-walking tour of Naumkeag are examples of two such customized programs. Knowledge or willing to learn FTP software such as WeTransfer or Smug Mug is also a critical need and requirement.
