Mission Statement
The Christmas Bureau helps bring the joys of the season to those families and individuals for whom the holidays are sometimes not a season of warmth and love, but a time of loneliness, financial struggles and sadness.
Description
Gift checks, funded by donations, are given privately to persons and familes referred to the Christmas Bureau by local agencies. Volunteer Board members handle the confidential referrals and distribute the checks in December. Recipients may use the money at their discretion. Because our expenses are minimal, approximately 98% of our yearly donations are passed on as gift checks.
