Docents at the Orlando Museum of Art provide tours through the museum’s temporary and permanent exhibits for age groups ranging from schoolchildren to adults. Docents bring expertise and thoughtful observation to art-viewing experiences for visiting groups. As representatives of the Orlando Museum of Art, docents further the museum’s mission to inspire creativity, passion and intellectual curiosity by connecting people with art and new ideas.

Docents must be committed to completing an extensive training course on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through the course of nine weeks (July 13 - September 13).

Docents should have great communication skills and an enthusiasm for art education in the community.

To apply, email Casey Hall at chall@omart.org for an application and an outline of training sessions.
