You can help adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities have a meaningful day. We need your support to help our Growers participate in the community and Farm activities they love.
You can join our Growers as they do their community service projects like Meals on Wheels, Central PA Food Bank, Paxton Street Ministries, and many more including several local nursing homes. You can also help them enjoy recreational activities like bowling, movies, libraries, and even museums, or just enjoying one of our local parks.
On the Farm you can help our Growers take care of their animals and gardens, participate in cooking and crafting activities, or just enjoy the day among their friends.
Hope Springs Farm is a 17 acre family Farm redesigned to accomodate the program for our Growers. As you can imagine a Farm like this always need something fixed. If you are handy with tools we need your help to keep the Farm in good shape for our Growers to enjoy.

Mission Statement
The mission of Hope Springs Farm is to provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a meaningful day through joyful group activities that lead to satisfying friendships.
Description
Hope Springs Farm's goal is to provide adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities a day program to maximize their abilities. Participants, or "Growers," as they are called, participate in community activities such as educational, civic and leisure activities, like visiting local museums, libraries, swimming, taking field trips, and volunteering in the community. On the Farm our Growers are tasked with farm chores, from feeding the animals to weeding the gardens. They also learn a variety of home-life skills, such as cooking, baking, cleaning, and shopping.
