ANIMAL EDUCATOR to help with programs @ schools, camps, libraries, etc.

Cause Areas

Mon Feb 19, 2018 - Mon Feb 25, 2019

Pleasant Hill, MO - near Lee's Summit, MOPleasant Hill, MO 64080

We have utilized owls, toucans and parrots for educational purposes since 1970 in the Kansas City metro area. We have 6 programs with different birds in them; sometimes we do 3 shows at the same time in different locations.

We train you. Requirements are attending programs to learn routines, getting to know the birds, and eventually participate in the shows when you are comfortable. Responsibilities are help load birds in to their carriers (which are mounted on carts inside van), ride along in the 'birdmobile' to show location, help unload the birds, help set up, perform, help tear down, help reload and once back at their home, unload. It's VERY REWARDING! The birds will make you look like a professional. You will learn so much people will think you're an ornithologist!

Our programs are very educational and the birds are breathtakingly beautiful. Their behaviors are interesting, and you won't believe how loving they are. This could easily lead to YOU doing shows and making a percentage of what they cost. ADDITIONALLY, IF YOU WANT A LITTLE MONEY, WE COULD PAY YOU TO WORK A COUPLE MORNINGS A WEEK WITH THE BIRDS IN THE BIRD ROOM. That would help you get to know the birds even more.

If you love animals consider this opportunity. You'll be a star amongst thousands. Please check our website out
