Orange County Korean/American Cultural Exchange (OCKACE) is a 100% member-run organization. Our purpose is to build a stronger connection between English-speaking Korean-Americans , native-speaking Koreans , and non-Koreans in the community by promoting Korean language and culture. We do this through hosting Korean-English language exchanges, hosting a formal Korean language program, fostering educational opportunities and workshops on culture, and by providing opportunities for community activities which further promote our purpose. We are only as strong as our members and other volunteers. Our Members and voluteers are the ones who drive this organization, so without you, we wouldn’t exist.
Korean language skills are NOT required to volunteer.
We are looking for social media experts to support us with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkeIn, Pintrest, Instagram etc. We need assistance to get the word out so that people can connect with us as a community organization and learn more about our services. We especially need a copywriter/graphics person to create unique themed content weekly on our Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.
We would love to have some fresh ideas on ways to educate the public, launch our new program, and work with us on educating the public about OCKACE and Korean language, culture, arts, news, etc.
