i9 Sports is looking for motivated and active volunteers to help us spread the joy of soccer! i9 Sports is an instruction-based youth sports league, based in Murrieta, CA, that gives athletes of all skill levels an opportunity to sharpen their skills through our proven practice/play format.
As a volunteer, you would be in charge of coaching a team (4-5 players) of your own. Our coaches are taught our practice/play format to a tee. Practice/Play refers to our system of holding a team practice, followed immediately by a game. This allows us to keep our games and practices down to one day a week and allow maximum convenience.
We supply an i9 Coach's Bag; complete with team uniforms, practice cards with i9 Certified drills, soccer balls, and medals. No other youth sports league offers the experience that i9 provides. Our Mission: To Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports There isn’t a better tool to teach a child the skills necessary to succeed in life than sports. Self-discipline, determination, teamwork and good sportsmanship are only a handful of the many valuable life skills learned through sports participation. Unfortunately, anyone with a ball and a whistle can offer a sports league for kids, and many kids leave organized sports because of a negative experience. Research has shown that the number one reason kids play sports is to have fun. It is not surprising then, that the number one reason they quit playing sports is because they stop enjoying it.
Description
We focus on how the game is played, how much fun we can make it for the kids, and how easy we can make it for the parents. i9 Sports offers an alternative to the disorganized, hyper-competitive, win-at-all-cost culture that pervades most youth sports programs today through a customer experience that delivers fun, safety, and convenience:
For Kids: We provide a fun, safe experience, in which kids can learn basic athletic skills, learn good sportsmanship, and increase their self-esteem.For Parents: We provide a convenient, well organized program that doesn’t consume their family’s life.
