Music Therapy for Children with Disorders
Developmental Speech-Language Training Through Music for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Work directly with the founder and creator of music-language games to support children and other populations with learning disabilities like autism. Assist in the administrative work and outreach. It includes coordination of research in music therapy, language development, child psychology, neuroscience, autism, ed tech/games, and related topics.

Skills required database management, online team coordination using ASANA work tracking management system. Also, must have good effective writing skills, good notetaker and self directed in completing tasks.

An opportunity of experiencing the full process of this cutting edge business, helping a needy demographic. Work closely with the Director and help organize calendar and work flow. Great to get real experience in the non-profit work and build a portfolio of examples of work. Benefits are letters of recommendation, internship hours, and possibility to turn into a future employment.

Time commitment: Starts at 5-10 hrs/week, indefinite period with possibility of becoming a paid position, can be local in Los Angeles area or virtual, with frequent internet communication.
