  • 48 people are interested

Looking to get involved in the community, make a positive impact toward ending sexual violence, and gain direct service skills? The Sexual Assault Resource Center is seeking highly dedicated individuals interested in providing in-person and over the phone support to survivors of sexual assault and exploitation in Washington and Multnomah Counties.

Volunteer advocates are often the first line of contact for individuals seeking emotional support, information, resources, and medical and legal advocacy around sexual assault and exploitation in Washington and Multnomah Counties. Advocates provide these confidential services through in-person response to safe locations such as hospitals, police departments and youth shelters.

Accepted applicants will gain advanced training around the dynamics of sexual assault and the commercial sexual exploitation of children in our community. Help be a part of the solution while gaining invaluable professional and personal development!
