Global Humanitaria

Mission and Work

Global Humanitaria’s global mission is to work with local communities to help identify their needs and to create self-sustainable development programs that will promote long-term positive change while advocating to end the injustices that created them in the first place.

Our programs reach some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Ivory Coast, Cambodia, and India. We operate in a need-based manner mainly focusing on education, health, food security and nutrition, women’s rights, and child protection services. Global Humanitaria hires only local staff to promote professional opportunities in the regions we operate. We ensure all programs are entirely community-led and truly respond to the self-identified needs of the populations we serve.

Global Humanitaria USA programs include cross-cultural sensitivity training for professionals in New York City working with unaccompanied minors from countries where we run programs internationally and have focused expertise.
