Mission Statement
Mission Statement: We are dedicated to providing hungry people with emergency and supplemental food in underserved areas in Clark County , Washington
Description
The Lewis River Mobile Food Bank was created in 2009 to meet the needs of the hungry people in the rural areas of North Clark County, WA. Because the remote areas are so wide-spread a mobile unit food pantry was explored and developed. We serve 4 remote areas on a weekly rotating basis in an attempt to reach the working poor. Our goal is to alleviate hunger in North Clark County by soliciting, collecting and packaging food for distribution through a network of service agencies and programs that serve our target groups. We receive support from the county, charitable organizations and corporate sponsorship. The Lewis River Mobile Food Bank is run by 100% volunteers.
