Seeking bilingual Spanish & English speaking volunteers!
An affordable housing development is seeking:
1) Spanish/English Speaker who will like to teach children from ages 6-12 Arts and Crafts, Singing, Outdoor activities,painting, storytelling, and writing.
2) Spanish/English Speaker who would review/Teach basic English for Spanish young/older residents.
3) Spanish/English Speaker to facilitate exercise sessions. Open to yoga/zumba/dance/any type of exercise . TV screen and wifi is available to access exercises but some residents need motivation and explanation in Spanish! If you need to exercise anyway, come exercise with us! Also good for some students training to be an instructor in front of a crowd!
4) Spanish/English Speaker to translate for our events/meetings. Free food/incentives available! Family Friendly events but just really need Spanish translation for some information and instructions.

Description
WORKS encourages and nurtures self- determination among families and individuals through learning, advocacy, support, and community building via the development of affordable housing, community centers, and child care facilities. Our Community Centers serve hundreds of at-risk children and parents in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Everyone is encouraged to take an active role in shaping the services offered at the Community Center to fit their particular community's needs. This not only empowers those fragile families but also gives them ownership of their community and an opportunity to affect positive and dynamic change.
