We are looking for volunteers who are engaged, active and motivated, who are interested in gaining significant experience in the areas of communications, marketing and social media management.

You will benefit from learning directly from our Marketing and Communications consultant and working with the rest of the staff and volunteer team.

This opportunity will suit volunteers who might have:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications

  • Experience of using social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Good computer skills, ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Description

Women United in Action is a BME led community organisation that provides economic development and empowerment training, career advancement programmes and personal development support for women from marginalised communities in the UK . Our centres unite women from the black and minority ethnic (BME) groups in the UK. The organisation provides support that ensures that migrant women are well integrated into the society, no matter their circumstances, by inspiring them towards a purposeful existence in the UK and life, generally. We support our service users to grow as individuals and create a strong frame work towards personal development, self discovery, economic empowerment and a true individual identity.
