Interlock Media, Inc. located near Google in Kendall Square, MA, is an activist film company that points to solutions for environmental, human rights and public health challenges. We support informed policy by producing entertaining documentary and dramatic media works.

We are seeking individuals with a strong desire to help us achieve our mission. Board Members serve as volunteers and are expected to contribute their ideas and energy to help devise, organize, and publicize our future projects and programming. Collegiality, commitment, a passion for film, and a sense of humor are requisite.

As a Governing Board Member, we ask that you try and attend 4 meetings a year, hopefully in person, if not telephonically. Board Members participate in strategic planning and lead the way in chartering and acknowledging successful completion of stated goals. Board Members also ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards. Though we would welcome your advice regarding fundraising, we do not expect miracles on this front; we recognize you have your own family and traditional causes to support. If possible, an initial contribution never hurts, it would help pay for end of the year honorariums and CPA fees. Others have chosen to make modest contributions via their direct deposit payroll arrangements, even the smallest amount represents a buy in and helps us remain liquid.

Please send cover letter and resume to gigs.interlock@gmail.com .

Be sure to reference "Board Member" in the subject line.
