Provide 30 - 45 minute group review lessons to students ranging from 3-5th grade. Guide them through new material, provide one on one help, and help them review and catch up so that they are ready for the next academic school year.
Mahar House in Wilmington, CA has a summer program for children whose parents cannot afford to take them to summer camp or enroll them in tutoring lessons. We provide lunch, fun activities, sports, and academic support for children in the community. If you are a retired teacher, a future teacher, have experience with children, enjoy volunteering, or just want to keep busy this summer, this is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY!
