Hi there!
FreeFrom is a national grassroots organization that helps survivors of domestic violence to achieve economic justice and stability. We are hosting a battle of the bands fundraiser in NYC in late September and are looking for help planning the event. Folks with experience in the music industry would be extremely helpful but help is also needed identifying potential sponsors, planning logistics, etc. Most of the planning work can be done remotely (ie. not in NYC).

Description
FreeFrom works to ensure long-term financial stability for survivors of domestic violence, nationwide in the following three ways:
- helping survivors of domestic violence to hold their abusers financially accountable through the civil justice system
- removing structural barriers that prevent survivors from obtaining economic justice, through policy advocacy
- helping to create survivor-ownered, survivor-operated small businesses
