Protection Order Assistants, located in the Family Violence Intervention Program at Family Court, help victims of domestic violence complete and file Protection Order applications. They provide information about the application process, safety planning and community resources. Protection Order Assistants are asked to commit to a minimum of four hours per week and must be available Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

SafeNest's mission is to be the leading advocate in promoting the eradication of domestic violence by providing confidential assistance including shelter, food, clothing, counseling, education and other services to individuals experiencing domestic violence while maintaining the highest respect and dignity.
Description
SafeNest is a non-profit agency operated by Temporary Assistance for Domestic Crisis, Inc. (TADC), a tax-exempt corporation. SafeNest runs the only 24-hour emergency shelters in Las Vegas that operate with undisclosed locations for the safety of victims of domestic violence. Established in 1977, SafeNest is the oldest and largest domestic violence program in Southern Nevada assisting clients to start over in a violence-free life. SafeNest serves all of Greater Las Vegas, Mesquite and rural Clark County. Besides hotlines and shelter, Safe Nest also provides counseling services, staffed by Marriage and Family Therapists and licensed professionals, who offer individual and group counseling for victims, offenders, adolescents and children impacted by domestic violence. Other services include crisis response, advocacy, Protection Order assistance, dating violence prevention in schools and public education.
