You will be trained to become a state-certified Crisis Hotline Advocate, and you will learn to answer a Sexual Assault and Crisis Hotline and implement Crisis Intervention with callers. We will train you thuroughly. Hotline shifts are typically on your personal cellular or landline phone not required to be in our office. Scheduling is mostly flexible. Other volunteer opportunities include fundraisers, outreaching/tabling, event planning committees, and regular office help if desired. Marketing and web-design are also areas in which we could use your skills. We are open to any creative ideas you have to help us to raise awareness about Project Help, our services, and volunteer opportunities - or to raise funds for victim services.
