AmpleHarvest.org needs assistance towards increasing awareness of our work in the food waste realm. This small organizaiton has already achieved a significant amount of public awanress nationwide (http://ampleharvest.org/news/) and we're seeking to further expand that in both local and national media.
Our social media team works very well. We need to be equally impactful in the traditional print and electronic space.
Countless local papers and media outlets are regularly writing/speaking about food waste as well as the lack of fresh food at America's food pantries - the heart of our work.
We are looking for someone who can help with reaching back out to these media outlets to invite them to do a followup story on AmpleHarvest.org. Our excellent online press kit is in place so this is largely finding the reporters and pointing them back to the press kit. Any interviews are handled by our executive director.
