Did you know that Girl Scouts is the largest leadership organization for girls in the world? Currently, there are about 2.7 million girl and adult members worldwide!
Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore (GSJS), representing girl and adult members in both Monmouth & Ocean County in New Jersey, is looking for personable, responsible, social butterflies that can represent our organization as Girl Scout Recruiters during various community events as volunteer Girl Scout Recruiters.
Our ultimate goal is to positively impact as many girls as possible and increase the marketshare of new girl and adult Girl Scout members in both Monmouth & Ocean Counties. Do you want to volunteer your time to be a part of the 100+ year history of Girl Scouts?
As a volunteer Girl Scout Recruiter, you would play a critical role in lead generation at local events by representing GSJS; you would help educate the public about the amazing opportunities available for girls who participate as Girl Scouts, and for Adults volunteering with Girl Scouts.
Training and support would be provided by the GSJS Recruitment Department.
Must have a passion for Girl Scouts and women's empowerment. Volunteer with GSJS and make a difference!

Description
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
