Read to Thrive is a non-profit organization with a mission of creating a passion for reading in children. We believe that reading is a gateway to better life.
We currently have book clubs at Newark Library, Hayward Library, and San Pablo Library in California and at JustBooks Gachhibowli in India. We would like to bring our programs to communities across the country & the world. We are currently looking for a volunteer who can be in charge of the following things:
1. to find a location for conducting our programs in a specific neighborhood. We will provide the neighborhood details based on the requirements. 2. This location can be a government school or a school catering to middle or low income children. 3. Communicate with the school to setup Read to Thrive programVolunteering for this program can take as little as two hours a month or as much time as you like.
Please contact us for more details. You can make a difference by volunteering!
