About Us: Our organization is dedicated to promoting greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding and engagement. As part of our efforts, we recognize the importance of social media in accomplishing our mission through engaging social media campaigns.
Our approach includes diverse web-based resources, programs, publications, social networking, and local events. Central to our efforts is our online bookstore ( www.multiculturalbooks.org), which offers a range of titles reflecting our commitment to cultural diversity.
Opportunity Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Volunteer Literary Selection Specialist who has a passion for reading, writing, and research. This key role involves researching and selecting new book titles, both for children and adults, to be featured in our online bookstore. Your contributions will directly support our mission by enriching our literary offerings and helping to connect readers with culturally diverse literature.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- Well-informed and appreciative of cross-cultural themes.
- Skilled in critical and analytical thinking, with a keen eye for literary quality and relevance.

Mission Statement
The Worldview Project’s educational mission is to promote greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding and engagement. We accomplish our mission through the publication of The San Diego Participant Observer online magazine, the producing of events such as the Harmony & Motion International Music and Dance Festival, and the Harmony in Action Cross-cultural Non Profits Fair and through collaborations with other organizations. Our organization’s greatest achievements and involvement are currently within our San Diego community, but we strive to have an impact on local, regional and national levels.
