9 people are interested
We are looking for friendly faces to greet people entering the West Entrances of St. John Sapulpa and to direct patients and guests to their destinations. Volunteers are trained to safely use and push wheelchairs if patients and guests need assistance.
Currently we have openings on Monday and Friday mornings from 8 am until noon, and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from noon - 4 pm. You will be in the company of St. John Sapulpa staff and volunteers, and you will leave with a warm heart, knowing that you have helped someone else.
If you are a Tulsa Achieves Student, service hours have to be served in Tulsa County. Sapulpa is located in Creek County.
Please contact us if you are interested in serving in this opportunity.
About St. John Auxiliary
1923 S. Utica Ave., Tulsa, OK 74104, US
The mission of the St. John Auxiliary is to serve our community with compassionate care and quality support for the patients, families and associates of St. John Medical Center, St. John Owasso, St. John Broken Arrow and St. John Sapulpa.
For more than 60 years, the St. John Auxiliary has provided volunteer services and funded special projects for St. John Health System. Today, volunteers are needed in several different areas within four of our main facilities: St. John Medical Center, St. John Owasso, St. John Broken Arrow and St. John Sapulpa.
The Auxiliary also has a model Junior Volunteer Program designed specifically for high school students, with goals to promote a lifelong commitment to community service and encourage medical career exploration.
Volunteer opportunities range from assisting professional staff in their patient care roles to manning guest services-related areas like our gift shops, information desks and flower delivery. St. John volunteers also greet and comfort families in emergency and surgical waiting areas and help with the patient admission and release processes.
Proceeds from the gift shops go toward special projects of the hospitals, such as wayfinding equipment and facility improvements and expansions, as well as technology like digital mammography units and the da Vinci surgical system that will impact lives in our community for years to come.

We'll work with your schedule.
