Looking for crafty and creative volunteers who are comfortable with a sewing machine to help make handwarmers to be given to victims of crime in times of crisis. Materials provided; work from the comfort of your own home, on your own time. Help us build up our stock ahead of winter.
Homemade handwarmers made from all natural fabrics such as cotton or wool and filled with flax or rice that can be microwaved or cooled for comfort. Reassuring for victims of crime, giving them warmth, and something to hold on to.
A great project for kids, families, classes or social groups, seniors, and more!
