As a fundraising chairperson you would be the principle contact in charge of fundraising events such as parades, walks, silent auctions, garage sales, bakes sales, car washes, etc. in the Beaufort NC COUNTY area. A fundraising chairperson should be creative, personable, and great at social networking to help spread the word about upcoming fundraisers and collect online donations in line with our mission statement. You would also be responsible for managing volunteers for special events.
A person who also has experience in grant writing would be preferred (but not mandatory) for this position as there are many grants that can benefit our organization.

Mission Statement
The mission of Paws and Love, Inc,. is to provide free-roaming and colony felines in Northeastern North Carolina with low-cost spay/neuter services and vaccinations; to provide life-long care to select colonies; and to find loving homes for eligible cats. The Corporation, which is organized under the Non-Profit Corporation Act of North Carolina, shall operate exclusively for charitable, civic, community welfare and education purposes and in a manner consistent with Chapter 55A of the General Statues of North Carolina and Section 501(c)(3) or successor provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
Description
Paws and Love Inc. is a nonprofit feline rescue in Eastern North Carolina that is active in providing low cost spaying and neutering to members of the community as well as TNR services for colonies. Paws and Love also takes in orphaned, sick, injured or abandonded felines of all ages in order to improve the quality of their life through placement in a manage colony, adoption programs, transfers to other rescues that are able to provide the same, or to provide hospice care in their final days.
