Vinnie at 4 weeks

Have you ever wanted to give something greater than yourself? Raising a puppy for Havoc K9 allows you to make a huge impact to communities who need a K9 in their law enforcement or search efforts to help make their environments more safe.

8 week old German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois puppies are placed in approved raiser homes for approximately one year. During this year you will be asked to attend up to twice weekly training sessions in Willard, Utah and surrounding cities in Davis, Weber, Salt Lake and Box Elder counties. In 2012 we changed the Utah law so that our puppies have public access rights similar as dogs for the disabled. This allows you to socialize your puppy to a variety of situations at welcoming businesses.

After a year of intense training and a fast bond, you will be asked to make the ultimate sacrifice in giving your puppy to a waiting law enforcement or other first responder agency. While this is the most difficult part of your career as a puppy raiser, know that the lives of the community in which they serve are forever changed for the better when your puppy takes drugs off the streets and helps to apprehend violent suspects as well as find lost children and adults in disaster situations. There is no greater love than giving a piece of your heart to a deserving community.
