Social Media Community Manager(s)
The social media strategy has already been created. All this volunteer would need to do is commit to dedicating time and attention to the NLIndy Facebook page for the purpose of executing the strategy - posting content, responding comments, routing questions to the appropriate NLIndy team members, etc. The volunteer(s) for this would ideally be familiar with Facebook and bonus points if they have worked with business pages.
Goal: Be a hub of communication, updates, encouragements, and call outs for volunteers.
Time commitment: Being readily available to respond to comments as they come in or route questions as needed - this could be done with minimal time commitment by adding the Pages app and letting the specific notifications alert the volunteer when action is needed. The posting part could be broken up into a few hours a week or less depending on how much automation and pre-scheduling they'd be comfortable with.

About NeighborLink Indianapolis
Location:
3421 N. Park Ave., INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46205, US
Mission Statement
NeighborLink Indianapolis mission is to help older adults and individuals with disabilities who own their own homes age in place safely and with dignity. We do this by providing home repair at no cost to the homeowner.
Description
We focus on home repairs that enable the homeowner to age in place safely, stabilize the home for years to come, and provide an improved appearance for the neighborhood at large. Many of the repairs we provide would be able to be done by the homeowner if they had the means or physical ability. By using volunteers we are able to help the homeowner as well as provide that intimate experience of truly being the hands and able-body for someone else.
Most older adults want to age in the most affordable home-the one they own. Aging in place allows older adults some level of autonomy and dignity over their own health and decisions. It allows many to remain within communities they’ve been a part of for decades. Social determinants of health, particularly including the ability to keep their home safe and accommodating to their physical needs, are among some of the most challenging barriers to aging in place.
