This volunteer would be able to receive a request from the NLIndy team like "donation call out for project" and create the email, schedule and deploy the email in MailChimp to the lists provided. Content could be provided or just an outline if they felt comfortable creating it on their own. They would work closely with the NLIndy team to have the emails created, approved and then deploy them when needed.
Goal: Utilize the email tool as a portion of the communication/marketing plan for NLIndy
Time Commitment: Perhaps a few hours a month? Maybe less, maybe more - depending on the month.

Mission Statement
NeighborLink Indianapolis mission is to help older adults and individuals with disabilities who own their own homes age in place safely and with dignity. We do this by providing home repair at no cost to the homeowner.
Description
We focus on home repairs that enable the homeowner to age in place safely, stabilize the home for years to come, and provide an improved appearance for the neighborhood at large. Many of the repairs we provide would be able to be done by the homeowner if they had the means or physical ability. By using volunteers we are able to help the homeowner as well as provide that intimate experience of truly being the hands and able-body for someone else.
Most older adults want to age in the most affordable home-the one they own. Aging in place allows older adults some level of autonomy and dignity over their own health and decisions. It allows many to remain within communities they’ve been a part of for decades. Social determinants of health, particularly including the ability to keep their home safe and accommodating to their physical needs, are among some of the most challenging barriers to aging in place.
