We have an opening for a "Volunteer Co-ordinator. This important person will be at the forefront of organizing volunteers! When there are events, extra hands are needed. If it's a long day, several shifts are helpful. Staying in touch with them can be done by email and over the phone. We suggest you hold a meet and greet and then monthly to stay in touch and on the same page. If you are good with your organizational skills, capable of delegating volunteers and would like to help, we'd love to have you!
Hours can be flexible. You will also be working closely with a "Volunteer Leader," who will be in physical contact with the volunteers at the refuge and for events.

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge is a non profit organization based in Nicholasville,Ky. Located on the historical grounds of Camp Nelson in Jessamine County, we offer lifelong sanctuary to wildlife that cannot be released back into their natural environments. Through our educational programs, these animals serve the community through off site educational programs, field trips, and internships for all ages. WRWR has opportunities for boy and girl scout groups. those in need of community hours, and those who wish to volunteer to make our world a better place! WRWR is accredited by:
