Accentcare Hospice is seeking Veterans, family members and friends of those in the service to offer companionship to Veterans in their homes on Hospice Care.

Companionship visits are simple, caring interactions but mean the world to our veterans. That companionship allows temporary caregiver relief, so they can get groceries or just take a nap. There are times that our veterans have outlived many of their loved ones, and volunteers may be some of their only available support as they face the end of their lives.

If you have completed volunteer training with another hospice, some of it is transferrable. Please get in touch if you are ready to dive in, we have a few patients in the area requesting support!

Volunteer training is provided as well as ongoing support and education opportunities to be sure you feel ready and equipped to help our community.
