Position Description:

Create, update, and maintain the Paws and Love, Inc. website. This includes making changes to web pages, creating graphics for the website along with creating new web pages.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Maintain the website and receive requests from internal volunteers who need changes made.

• Create new web pages when necessary (fundraisers, newsletter page, etc)

• Update the team page as new volunteers join the rescue

• Update all pages as necessary except for the animals profiles. This is done by other positions

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18+

• Ability to work courteously and cooperatively with all members of Paws and Love, Inc. and the public.

• Work as a team player, supporting the overall goals of the organization.

• Strong interpersonal skills - outgoing, patient, professional, and able to get along well with a variety of people.

• Access to Internet throughout the day.

• Smartphone required for accessing emails when needed

• Maturity, good judgement and a professional personal appearance.

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision and direction at times.

• Well organized

• Valid driver’s license

Education and Experience:

• Have a strong understanding of web page layout, web site architecture, database integration, and web standards.

• Front end development experience

• Graphic design experience

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand fluent English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and office, especially word and excel

• Proficiency using Gmail and Yahoo preferred, including google drive

• Ability to use Facebook and communicate with volunteers and fosters if needed
