Social visitors are needed to visit isolated older adults and adults with disabilities throughout Fairfax County. Bilingual volunteers are also needed. Would you like to make a difference in a lonely person's life? Brighten someone's day! The time commitment is flexible,1-2 hours/week.

Mission Statement

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Description

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
