Are you passionate about spreading awareness about chronic kidney disease? Do you want to get more involved? Do you enjoy talking to people at health fairs or speaking in front of groups? If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, WE NEED YOU!

The National Kidney Foundation has many opportunities to educate those in the Kansas City, Topeka and Wichita areas about kidney health. Kidney Health Ambassadors are the front line in our community providing much needed kidney health information to support our mission of awareness, prevention and treatment of this deadly disease that affects over 30 million Americans each year.

To become a Kidney Health Ambassador for the National Kidney Foundation, you must first go through a basic training. Once you are a trained Ambassador, you will be equipped to represent the NKF throughout the year and educate our community on kidney health. Your time commitment is completely up to you. You can volunteer once a week, once a month, or even just twice a year.

Be a part of this important program by submitting a volunteer application today! For more information on this opportunity, contact JoAnna Rogers at joanna.rogers@kidney.org or 913.262.1551 ext. 473.
