About

Some court-ordered community service volunteers can be accepted by the Habitat for Humanity ReStores. We can accept most traffic and some other charges. We cannot accept anything related to theft or violence.

The Habitat ReStore raises funds for the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate by selling donated new and gently-used furniture, household decor, appliances and building supplies to the general public at prices greatly reduced from retail. These funds support the Habitat for Humanity affiliate as they provide affordable housing for families in the community who need it.

Volunteers are needed to unload the donations truck, load purchased items into shoppers' vehicles, move furniture and other items onto the sales floor, etc.

The ReStore is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 to 6.

Potential volunteers must pass a background check, which the agency provides.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are located in Doraville, Lawrenceville, McDonough, Roswell and Smyrna. For more information or to volunteer, contact Mary Robeck at mrobeck@habitat.org or 770-415-1636 , or go directly to our website:
