HumanRefuge(e) is looking for a Grant Writer who will be primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations and will effectively communicate HumanRefuge(e)'s mission and programs to potential funders. The Grant Writer will research, write, and prepare grant proposals.

This is a volunteer position that works as a member of the HumanRefuge(e) Team and requires participation in team meetings and is a telecommuting position. The candidate is requested to have his/her own laptop and communication tools. In return for the volunteer hours, the benefits to the volunteer candidate include: job reference letter from the Chief Executive Officer of HumanRefuge(e) or the immediate supervisor, experience gained in a 501(c)3 nonprofit and the ability to have a serious impact in the lives of refugees, networking opportunities, resume entry, and experience working with correspondents, contributors, and volunteers from all over the world. Most importantly, you will be helping the organization work toward its mission of providing dignity and respect for the millions of displaced men, women, and children across the globe and help their voices be heard.
