Be a positive role model and friend to a youth age 8-17 in the Greater Danbury Area. Gain personal fullfillment through contribution to the community by helping a youth mature, progress, & achieve goals. This one-on-one community-based mentoring program allows the mentor and mentee to explore the endless possibilities in the community together to establish and maintain a positive and consistent relationship for youth that may not otherwise have in their lives. Go hiking, out to eat, visit a museum, take a dance class, or play some basketball at a park. Hours are based upon a mutual agreement of availability.
Get Involved: You must be at least 21 years old with a driver's license & car and willing to complete an FBI criminal history, Department of Children & Families (DCF), and driving record background checks. This is a one-year committment, but friendship is lifetime!
