Dress for Success Twin Cities is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women in the Twin Cities by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Our Business Attire program helps outfit women with the clothing they need to start and maintain employment. Last year we had over 1,000 women through that program alone. One of the keys to that programs success is the clothing donations we receive from donors that they drop off at our location.
We are looking for a Donation Intake Volunteer to help greet donors and unload donations as they arrive.
Donation Intake Volunteers ensure clothing donors are greeted, thanked, and helped unloading their donations. Must have ability to lift boxes, bags and other awkward bulky items up to 30 pounds.
- Greet all clothing donors in a friendly and courteous manner
- Provide clothing donors our donation receipt via tablet
- Assist unloading donations from donor’s vehicle
- Ensure all donations are placed in proper processing areas
- Ensure that donors are all thanked for their donations
Hours Needed (2 - 7 hour shifts available)
Donations are unloaded in all types of weather. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
