Summer Camps at the Speed Art Museum are a great opportunity to get involved in a vibrant, inspiring setting. The camps focus on different themes each week, and have art activities which correspond to the theme. We are seeking help for each camp as they have been a huge success in recent years; some are even sold out! The shifts are typically from 8:00a-12:00p and 1:00p-5:00p.
See below for a description for each camp!
June 11-15, 9 am-4 pm
If you’ve ever wondered about the science of color, the meaning of symmetry, or how that sculpture stands up on its own, this might be the camp for you. Campers will connect concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through dynamic works of Art, combining art making and experimentation for a week filled with fun.
