Internaional Focus is in need of small business owners to mentor young entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean Islands. The attendees will have had at least 2 years experience operating a business in their respective countries.They will spend Monday through Thursday at your business. You will have the option to mentor them as you see fit- they can shawdow an employee, be given a project, sit in on meetings, etc. They will be unpaid.
This program is being conducted by International Focus and the US government under a new program especially created by President Obama. Two businesses will be awarded travel to your respective intern's country at the end of the program.

Description
International Focus supports multiculturalism and international exchange through the International Visitors' Leadership Programs, the Community Connections Programs, and the Open World Programs. International Focus also promotes diversity via its newsletters, collaborations, workshops, resources, and its flagship event, the International Festival of Raleigh, considered to be a key component of the Triangle’s cultural and artistic offerings. The event showcases music, dance, cuisine, art, and cultural education from 55 diverse cultures, and welcomes 30,000 visitors annually.
We continue to welcome new ethnic communities to our network as the Triangle’s population expands; and we are honored to be the area’s pivotal connector for cross-cultural understanding and respect.
