Join Northwest Housing Alternatives as an outdoor activities program leader!
We are looking for individuals/groups to facilitate an outdoor activities program to help our youth spend the summer outside; engaged in healthy outdoor activities all summer long!
River Glen is an affordable housing community in Gladstone that is home to more than 30 kids. We are looking for several volunteers (2-5) to come to the property on a weekly basis to help with homework, reading, and arts and craft activities.
Volunteers will be posted at our property in Gladstone to support children and youth by leading positive outdoor events, games and activities. Volunteers will lead games, exercises and groups with participants as well as coordinate with other volunteers to create an engaging and fun program.
All supplies will be provided. The Outdoor Activities Program will run from late May to early September. Volunteers should be available 1-2 days a week for 2 hours at a time.
