Come join our Clothing Volunteer Team and help give away FREE Clothing. Our Clothing Distribution Program operates every Wednesday thru Saturday from 9am to 1pm. We serve hundreds of families every week with free clothing items.
Positions Available
Customer Service: Be the joy in someone's life by serving them in our clothing distirubtion checkout station. This positon requires you to stand and visit with clients while you take their clothing items off of hangers, then count and bag their clothing items. You will meet a variety of people from all walks of life in our clothing center. Come make new friends with our volunteers and clients!
Sort & Hang: Because of the large volume of clothing we distribute every week, we are always looking for kind people to come sort and hang the newest clothing items. What we can't give away, we recycle! Plus, you might find an item or two you want! This position can be done sitting down as well!

Our purpose is to provide basic needs, resources, and life enhancing programs to the people of Longview and the greater East Texas region. LDC is focused on providing hunger relief, free clothing, and community service projects for individuals in need.
Description
The Longview Dream Center (LDC) is a 501c3 Non-Profit Texas Corporation with an active Board of Directors. We operate fully through the generous donations of individuals, business owners and corporations. As a member of the East Texas Food Bank, we help provide food to over 500 families and distribute 200 senior citizen boxes every month. LDC provides over 10,000 pieces of FREE clothing per month to anyone in need.
