We need someone to come manage the office about 5-10 hours a week. This incudes updating and making files and making sure we have everyones paperwork is done in the binder., inputing montly into Quickbooks and helping cut checks, tracking lessons each week and horses used orginzing, working with state on employee info and quartly tax info finding grants and getting documents ready for grant writter, help with planning fundraising events.

Scooter’s Place is a local non-profit organization serving the children’s community, especially those who need just a little more patience, including children on the Autism spectrum, children with anxiety disorders and those with Down Syndrome. Scooter’s Place is neither a therapeutic barn nor a mainstream barn but somewhere in between, offering a fun and flexible, but structured and safe environment to learn in. We offer horsemanship education that teaches life skills, self-confidence, and body awareness in a non-restrictive and non-judgmental barn environment.
