Daly CityDaly City, CA 94014

DrawBridge is a nonprofit that brings expressive arts to homeless and other underserved children, giving them an opportunity to express themselves and explore their inner creativity. The group is led by an experienced facilitator who needs one or two volunteers to support the kids and give them extra one-on-one attention. We have two different groups that meet on Wednesday evenings, one at 4:00pm, the other at 6:00pm. Volunteers help by encouraging and supporting children, giving them the opportunity to express themselves in a safe, familiar environment. Volunteers are asked to make a six-month commitment. Desired qualities include creativity, kindness, ability to listen, patience and ability to give unconditional support.
