Work with our CFO/CPA on a variety of special projects. Habitat for Humanity Orange County builds and renovates decent, sustainable and affordable homes in partnership with low and limited income families and individuals selected for homeownership through a rigorous application process. With more than 1400 Habitat affiliates in over 70 countries, a Habitat home is completed approximately every four minutes somewhere in the world. Habitat homes are sold to qualifying partner homeowners and financed with loans. Through this program, families gain self-sufficiency with an affordable mortgage, enjoy the stability of a permanent home, and hundreds of volunteers make a lasting contribution to their community.

As affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat OC and Habitat LA are working to eliminate substandard housing in their own communities. Since 1988, Habitat OC has completed the construction of 200 homes, moving more than 1,000 women, men, and children from substandard housing to an affordable, permanent home and are also involved in providing home repairs for veteran and civilian homeowners throughout Orange County. Currently they are building and providing critical home repairs throughout the county, including the cities of Anaheim, Cypress, Fullerton, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana.
