About

Each year the Natural History Museum of Utah hosts over 45,000 elementary aged children. We need volunteers to help engage these students in hands-on activities to excite them about the natural world. As a School Programs volunteer you will be able to play a part in igniting a young child’s life-long passion for science. You’ll gain valuable experience working with children, and get specialized training to learn to share the content of our exhibits in a meaningful (age appropriate) way.

We currently have positions with our Junior Science Academy and our STEM Lab. Visit https://nhmu.utah.edu/volunteers for more details.
