Share the word and feed the soul! We are looking for God loving individual to come a share the word with our seniors at Buckingham Gardens, an affordable housing program for low-income seniors. Volunteering in this capacity will give our residents an opportunity to socialize, rekindle their spirituality, and their confidence. This opportunity will give our residents the opportunity to have a trusted confidant.
Buckingham Gardens Bible Study Leader will provide spiritual guidance to our seniors. You will visit and build a relationship with our residents. You will host an hour long bible study once a month for at least three months. You will lead them through devotions as well as sharing words from the scriptures. The sessions will start with an open prayer and end with the Lord’s Prayer. After sharing of the Word (scripture) allow time for fun bible games and personal sharing. You are welcome to provide a light snacks.
