The STEM Summer camp will be a two week camp for underrepresented youth living at one of HomeFirst’s Family Living Centers. This camp will be designed to engage children and youth to STEM programming as well as to provide volunteers with leadership roles and work along side HomeFirst staff.

Volunteer hours will be from 9am- 1:30 pm everyday of camp at the Sobrato Family Living Center. The volunteer’s duties will include:

  • Leadership roles include leading a small group of students and assist students with questions, support, and encouragement
  • Teaching children and youth how to assemble RAFT kits.
  • Assist kids with pre/post assessments.
  • Support HomeFirst staff with daily activities and organization.
  • Be positive role models for HomeFirst children and youth.

Lunch will be provided at camp for volunteers!
