WGLI is getting ready to go national and we need you to help us put into place new operating practices and structure.
You’ll be involved in organizational strategy-influencing 2016-17 goals and beyond: WGLI becomes a membership org and Offers Programs to Partners in the US.
Areas of responsibility:
Directly in contact with and of service to ED and other responsible parties requesting
standard support- working with board of directors and department leads: marketing, business development, volunteer coordinator, treasurer and bookkeeper
Strategy & Best Practices: Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans. Recommend, formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
HR: Plan the use of human resources. Help identify needed staff and write job/volunteer descriptions-working directly with Volunteer Coordinator.
Maintain yearly calendar: aware of all scheduled public and internal events, including calendar board and volunteer meetings. In charge of coordination and scheduling of ED’s conference calendar.
Works w/ CRM Administrator-requesting & keeping a record of all new registrations: workshops, membership, partners.
Serve as the central contact person: handle emails and all general inquiries and refers inquiries to appropriate person
Required Experience and Knowledge
College degree and/or on the job experience in human resources, business administration, operations admin or relevant industry.
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
General knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
